| | | Description: ED453 Education as a Profession. 2 hours. Expansion of knowledge, skills, and competencies of pre-service educators. Topics include: successful teacher characteristics and behaviors, communication, classroom management, assessment, job search preparation, and current societal, cultural, and legal issues in education. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ED101/102, PY210, and PY223. Successful passage of MoGEA. Junior standing. This course should be taken the semester prior to student teaching. | | | |
